Oh how I wish I was back in Uruguay, speaking Spanish and writing more frequently on this blog...yet, here I am in Abilene, TX. It is once again summer and I have a new job! I am an intern for the youth group at Southern Hills Church of Christ(mostly Junior High). So far we've been working on getting things ready for the kids' summer. I've taught class twice and will continue to do so through December. I've learned a lot in my short time and I am excited about what God has for me in the coming months.
In just two weeks I get to move into a house!! Ya ya!! I'm excited to have a place that is not an apartment or dorm (or my parents house...I love you, Mom and Dad). With that comes more responsibility; especially financial responsibilities. Guess that's the "real world". If anyone wants to hang out, just let me know :) Thanks for keeping up with my sporatic blogging.
